Dear Lovers of Choral Music,
Are you preparing yourselves for Advent and Christmas concerts at home? Are you devoting a lot of time and creative efforts to your preparations?
And would you like to prolong the joy of singing for an eager audience and to make good on all the pre-Christmas concert rehearsals?
Now you have the opportunity to perform your music in Prague in the New Year, in the quiet ambience of churches in the lull after the holidays. Come and sing along with other choruses at the New Year festival in Prague, have a look at Prague in the wintertime; that is, at a more peaceful time of year. You will also meet people with similar sympathies and interests to yours and enjoy an extended holiday period with them.
The New Year Prague festival takes place in Prague from January 3rd – 6th, and we will try to prepare a beautiful and fun program for you. You will meet friendly people, sing in the beautiful atmosphere of ancient Prague churches, have a look around at historical monuments and enjoy wintertime Prague.

Number of members in choirs: unrestricted

Programme

3rd January 2011 Sunday
Arrival at the hotel in the evening. Welcome introduction from your guide. Accommodate.
Evening meal in the hotel.
Possible visit to a concert or theatre performance (not included in the price)

4th January 2011 Monday
Breakfast in the hotel
Sightseeing tour of the town with a qualified guide.
Lunch - optional.
Afternoon public performance of individual participating choirs in Prague Churches or in Rest Homes (as requested).
Evening meal in the hotel.
Evening organ concert for participants.

5th January 2011 Tuesday
Breakfast in the hotel
Lunch -optional
Afternoon public performance of individual participating choirs in Prague Churches or in Rest Homes (as requested).
Late afternoon group performance under the guidance of a renowned Czech choirmaster (group compositions will be sent to choirs in advance and choirs will practice them – Czech carol).
Evening meal in the hotel.
Social evening with the handing out of commemorative certificates and programme.

The following price chart offers package price in different accomodation categories:

We have lowered the price for the year of 2011!

Package price includes:
- participation fee in festival programme
- three overnights in a hotel of your choice
- three breakfasts in a hotel
- three dinners in a hotel
- guided city tour of Prague
- services of a local quide for all festival programme activities in English or German language
- one free place for every 21 paying participants

Accomodations in twin or three-bedded rooms in 4*hotels and 3*hotels.
Usual solution in 2*hotels is that two twin-bedded rooms or twin and triple rooms share private facilities.

The price does not include:
- transportation (please note that organizers would be happy to arrange transportation to/from festival functions as per your requirements.)
