DANCE 2009 BOHEMIA
INTERNATIONAL
FOLKLORE DANCE FESTIVAL

 Introduction
The first staging of this event in 2005 became an instant success. Tens of the ensembles which participated in 2005-2008 have thoroughly enjoyed this event. The festival is now entering already the fifth year of its existence and as it has expanded beyond Prague it is re-named to Dance2009Bohemia. Dance2009Bohemia is -like the previous DanceBohemia festivals - again going to be a bright attractive, most pleasant weekend bringing together dancers from different countries of the world performances of which Praguerers and visitors of Prague as well as the viewers and public in city of Podebrady enormously enjoy.
Date and place
The dates of Dance2009Bohemia are 20th–23th August 2009 (Thursday-Sunday). The main venue of Dance2009Bohemia is the Bohemian capital - Prague but all ensembles will have their second performance in a regional spa town of Podebrady. Podebrady
Participation
Dance2009Bohemia is open to amateur dance folklore ensembles with no size or age limit. There is a subscription of participants towards the cost of the festival (see in below price chart).
Festival organiser
The festival is organised by IfB Bohemia Prague in
co-operation with Music Travel Agency Prague. Both companies are
experienced organizers
of musical and cultural festivals, events and travel.

Accommodation is in two or three-bedded rooms in 4*hotels and 3*hotels.
Usual solution in 2* hotels is that two twin-bedded rooms share
private facilities.
The price does not include:
transportation. (Please note that we would be happy to arrange transportation
to/from functions as per your requirements.)
