INTERNATIONAL BRASS BANDS PARTY - PRAGUE
18th June-21st June 2009

Introduction

Brass2009Bohemia is already the sixth year of the most popular Prague get-together for brass bands and orchestras. This summer event is a cheerful enjoyable weekend bringing together brass musicians of different countries with citizens and visitors of Prague and Nymburk from all over the world who like fun and music. Both local public and visitors love this event. Still the participants of the festival can enjoy the beauty of Prague and Nymburk - the attractive cities in Central Europe.

Date and place

The dates of Brass2009Bohemia are 18th June-21st June 2009 (Thursday-Sunday). The main venue of Brass2009Bohemia is the Bohemian capital - Prague. The second public performance takes place in Nymburk. Nymburk

Participation

Brass2009Bohemia is open to amateur brass and wind music orchestras with no size or age limit. The reasonable costs of participation are to be borne by participants (see in below price chart).

Festival organiser

The festival is organised by IfB Bohemia Prague in co-operation with Music Travel Agency Prague. Both companies are experienced organizers of musical and cultural festivals, events and travel.

Morning parade of the bands through city centre
Afternoon public concerts of bands in Prague city centre
Late evening Vltava river cruise with live music and welcome drink

Saturday, 20th June 2009
Morning parade of the bands in Nymburk
Lunch
Afternoon public concerts of bands in Nymburk
Gala-dinner with music and dance

Sunday, 21st June 2009
Departures after breakfast

Prices

The following price chart offers package price in different accommodation categories:

Package price includes:

• participation fee
• three overnights in hotel of your choice
• welcome drink on arrival
• three buffet breakfasts
• lunch in Nymburk
• gala-dinner
• guided city tour
• river cruise with a welcome drink
• services of local guide for all programme activities in English or German language
• one free place for every 20 paying participants

The price does not include:

• transportation. (Please note that we would be happy to arrange transportation to/from party functions as per your requirements.)
